How we respect privacy when we deal with personal information collected by our organisation.


This Privacy Policy applies to information we The Reverend Thomas Woolsey's Charity collect about individuals who interact with our organisation.  It explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

Personal Data that we process:

1. Enquiring about our charity and its work;

Name, email, message

Legitimate interests - it is necessary for us to read and store your message so that we can respond.


2. Application for a grant;

Name, email, address, phone number, bank details, educational background, date of birth if under 25.

Legitimate interests - to be able to contact you and pay you a grant from the charity if successful.


3. How we use your data:

We will only use your data in the manner as described above,.  

For example:

a. reply to a query

b. inform you of your grant outcome

c. use your bank details to pay your grant


4. When we share your data:

We will only share your e mail address with websites that are delivering your grant electronically.

5. How long we keep your data:

We will keep your data for the period of one year from application then delete appropriately.

For archiving minutes only as a record of the charitable giving, your name and grant information only.

6. Rights over your data:

You have right of access to your information.

You have the right to ask for rectification and or deletion of your information.



We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time and will publish the most current version on our website.  If a modification meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify people whose personal data we hold and is affected.
